    Who We Are


    Tara Treffry is a culture driven operations and marketing executive with a diverse background in hospitality, retail strategy and consumer packaged goods. Her proven ability to build strong relationships, create highly effective teams and develop leadership skills in others has led her to a career in consulting. Focused on innovative solutions that grow businesses, increase performance and result in excellent customer experiences, Tara has worked with brands, restaurants and hotels across the country to transform their businesses. 

    Tara spent six years in marketing, operations and culinary development with Whole Foods Market where she created national programs, cultivated innovative partnerships with chefs and brands, and helped guide business from their space at farmers markets to the shelf as a national supplier. She has worked as the Vice President of Marketing and Operations for a boutique hospitality group in New Orleans, as well as serving as the Director of Marketing for a hospitality group in Newport, RI. In her role as a consultant, Tara takes an innovative approach to building marketing and business strategies, by guiding clients through the operational logistics needed to support plans. 

    Tara has served on the Board of Directors for the Austin Food and Wine Alliance, the planning committee for the Austin James Beard Foundation Taste America event, the Marketing Committee for Cultivate Kansas City,  amongst many of her board positions. 


    Kalen Arreola has a B.A. in Communications with an emphasis on Print and Web Journalism, studied at The Art Institute for Advertising & Design, with a short stint in culinary school (because who doesn’t love FOOD)?! 

    She is passionate about helping people fulfill their dreams and calling through entrepreneurship, because of the benefits she has experienced throughout her life.  

    Kalen spent several years working at PETCO in corporate communications, ten years leading military public affairs teams as an officer in the Army Reserve, and more than ten years helping small businesses with branding and marketing. She has used her experience and training to assist more than 300 organizations, from global corporations to small nonprofits. 

    When Kalen and Tara met, they knew it would be a no brainer to leverage each of their skill sets to help hospitality / food and beverage brands to grow and thrive in this new, post-pandemic operating environment.

    We know that with the right strategy and today’s ever-expanding digital tools small businesses can thrive in any condition.
